About this project

To transition Georgie’s nursery to a big girl’s room, her mum and dad were looking for ideas to make the best use of an awkward space. Long and narrow with a staircase cutting into the room, I designed a cabin bed to hide the stair and incorporated lots of storage and a fold-down desk to leave as much space as possible for play and sleepovers. The light, fresh colour scheme complements the rest of the house and makes the most of the available light.
