About this project

Having outgrown her nursery, Amelia’s parents asked my help again in designing their daughter’s “big girl room”. Making the most of its challenging shape under the eaves, I designed a cupboard bed with a sleepover trundle and integrated storage for Amelia’s toys and books. Vintage wallpaper inside the bed sets the tone for a romantic retro feel. Warm greys and natural materials create a calm look that is easy to update as Amelia grows up.
